Every day, about 1500 adolescents commit suicide. That’s one in every 15 high school students, according to the study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC also found that depression might be a driving factor in these suicides. In addition, these suicides are often done impulsively, without careful planning. She had also been bullied for the last 2 years of her life. Ninesa’s death has caused many other teens to speak up about their struggles with depression and bullying, and it has also inspired her brother to start a foundation in her memory.
