Khalid who passed away was a journalist from Qatar. He was a photojournalist and was covering the world cup when he collapse all of a sudden and passed away. His demise news was released in the early hours of Monday while the reporter passed away on Sunday evening. Gulf times reportedly mentioned that Khalid passed away while he was covering the match. The report also mentions that they believe in the mercy and forgiveness of god and that they sent their deepest condolences to the family of Khalid and his loved ones. Although there are many speculations surrounding his death, Khalid’s precise cause of death was not mentioned.

Khalid passed away the exact same way Wahl passed away, and this occurred just days apart from each other. Wahl was 48 when he collapsed all of a sudden and passed away. As per the reports Wahl suffered a heart attack when he was covering the match between Argentina and the Netherlands in the quarter-finals which were held in Doha. While many fans and friends paid tribute to Wahl, the team members who were along with Wahl added that the reporter sat back and just fell unconscious on his seat during the extra time. While there are no such reports about any foul play or anything else, it can be said that Wahl might have passed away due to cardiac arrest, but Khalid’s death is a rising question as well.
