Shooting Reported At Hampton Glen Today
After the shooting took place a heavy and multiple law enforcements were present at the area where the shooting occurred and a roadblock was set up in that area as well. The law enforcement which was present at that time included Cobb County Police, Marietta Police, Powder Springs police, Sheriff’s office, and Georgia State patrol as well. As per the sources, Georgia police have been investigating the case and they are thoroughly going through every aspect. Also, apart from the Georgian police, GBI units as well are en route to the scene, the GBI director Mike Register said in a statement while they were speaking about the investigations.
2 Cobb County Deputies Shot & Killed In Cobb County, Georgia
The shooting occurred at the Irwin and John Ward roads where there was high traffic after the shooting which were turned and rerouted. Also, this occurred at the southeasters Chatham Hill Elementary School area. As many of the local reports suggested, the shooting occurred at around 7: 45 pm on Thursday, and as soon as the shooting was heard there was law enforcement rushed to the area. Also after 8 pm, there were several ambulances arriving at the Wellsatr Kennestoen Hospital. There were several Tweets that said that the deputies were killed during the shooting and there were plenty f tears and hugs at the site of the shooting.
2 Suspects Are Barricaded
The confirmation of the death of two officers was given just after 9 pm on Thursday and until now there is no revelation of the identities of the two officers. As of now the accused’s crimes and the name of the accused have not been revealed as well. GBI released their statements in which they sent their condolences to the family members of the two officers and they also prayed for the soul as well. It was not revealed what type of warrant was served for the accused so that the shooting took place. Investigations are ongoing and after the investigations are complete police will reveal the complete reason and the explanation behind the shooting.
