RJ Rachana, a popular TV anchor and actress in the Kannada film and television industry passed away. She was 39. RJ Rachana had been suffering a cardiac arrest and was admitted to Rajendra Hospital in Bengaluru where she died after running out of options to save her life, a hospital official said. From Rajendranagar in Bengaluru, RJ Rachana had relocated to Bengaluru with her husband Prakash Rai and two children, aged six and four, in 2014. The news of RJ Rachana’s death shook the Kannada film industry. Actor Anand Raj, who recently directed her in a film, said, ” Rachana’s death is indeed a huge loss to all her fans and colleagues in the industry. We have lost one of our household names in such a tragic manner”. Other actors too condoled with the loss saying, ” May her soul rest in peace and may her family be eternally proud of her”.
