Sonni Balli took his last breath at the age of 40. His fans are constantly searching to know about his sudden departure. As per the reports, a Dancehall musician died away after suffering from a heart attack. This news came as a big shock for several, particularly since he commemorated his birthday on Monday, 6th June. Mark wrote in his Facebook post which reads “Sonni Balli how could you do this to me brother! I wished you a happy birthday just this last Monday and you left the world this Thursday, 9th June 2022. This is not right! I am completely shattered and very heartbroken! Why???” His thousands of fans are sharing their condolences over his demise and paying tribute to him on social media.

Sonni Balli’s born name was Sonny Kwabena Amoako Akoanor he began his music career at the young age of 17 years old. In his childhood, he used to sing in church. Though his parents never supported him in making his career in singing and they were always against it but Balli was determined about it and wanted to make his mark in the music industry. After a lot of difficulties, he finally started getting success at the first achievement he got at the age of 18. When he was 18 years old he was founded by Nana King who was an American-based producer.

Nana worked with Balli on his 1st single. After this success, the legendary musician went on to begin a music group titled “G Life” along with 3 other pals. His group successfully made 2 music albums together and the name of the music albums was Abrabo in Ghana- ‘Life in Ghana’ and Kotoho- “take a bow” but these albums disbanded. After that, the musical group G Life carried on creating successful collaborations with many significant Ghanaian artists. The band also worked with Mary Agyapong on the popular singe titled Adede. Though he is not between us but his music will always be with us.
