The student who was found dead in a residence hall on the Indiana campus was identified as a 20years old Purdue University student Varun Manish Chheda he was found dead with sharp force traumatic injuries and the main suspect in this case who was taken into arrest was his roommate who remains under custody. Meanwhile, the student and the Indian government are questioning the death of the students, the body is still under investigation, and the case is as well. The person who was accused and remains under custody was identified as a 22-year-old man who was his roommate of Varun, and he was the one who called the police.

The case was initiated when Varun was killed on the 5th of October 2022, Wednesday. As per the sources, police suspect that Varun was killed by his 22-year-old roommate but as the investigations are still incomplete nothing can be said. Although the autopsy says that the death was a case of murder and filed the case under homicide, a section of the investigations ay that the people called the case a murder. Varun was a student at Purdue University and was a graduate of the 2020 batch pf the park Tudor, his friends described him as young, kind and a person who was passionate and intelligent as well.
Who Was The Killer?
The suspect, in this case, was identified as 22 years old Ji Min Jimmy Sha who is from Korea and the police have taken him under custody. Police have said that Jimmy is the prime suspect and that he was the one who called the police. Jimmy is a junior at the Cybersecurity major and he was studying as an international student from Korea. Police have released no further details of the call, but police have said that the call was from Jimmy himself ad he said that he found his friend or roommate dead while he was asleep. The only thing disclosed until now was that Varun was found dead on the first floor of the McCutcheon Hall.
